These terms cover playing Late Brake at latebrake.in and buying car colours in it. By playing, you agree to them.

Who we are

Late Brake is a browser racing game made and run by Ayush Garg in India ("we", "us"). You can reach us at officialayushgarg@gmail.com or through the contact page.

Playing the game

Late Brake is free to play. To race, you either play as a guest or continue with Google, and pick a driver name.

Please keep it fair. You agree not to:

cheat, including faking lap times, tampering with the game or its uploads, or using bots or scripts to drive;
exploit bugs to get onto the leaderboards;
choose a driver name that's offensive, impersonates someone, or advertises something;
try to break, overload or get around the security of the game or the services it uses.

We can remove laps, change or remove driver names, and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your account

A guest account lives in the browser you play in. If you clear that browser's data before adding Google to it, the account can't be recovered. Signing in with Google keeps your account, and anything you buy, on any device. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

Your driver name, your lap times and the replay ("ghost") of your best laps are public: anyone can see them on the leaderboards and race against your ghost.

If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian before signing in with Google or buying anything.

Car colours

Some car colours can be unlocked by winning medals, or bought straight away. They're cosmetic only: they change how your car looks and give no advantage on track.

Prices are shown in Indian rupees in the game's Garage and include taxes.
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record for these sales. Dodo takes the payment, sends your receipt, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. We never see your card or UPI details.
Delivery is instant: a colour is added to your account as soon as the payment goes through. Buying needs a Google account so the colour stays yours on any device.
What you get is a personal licence to use that colour in Late Brake while the game runs. It can't be transferred or exchanged for money.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Changes and availability

We keep improving the game, so circuits, modes, medal times and features can change. Online features depend on services we don't run and may sometimes be unavailable. The game is provided "as is", without any promise that it will always be available or free of bugs. If we ever shut Late Brake down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on this site.

Our content

The game, its code, graphics and sounds belong to us or are used under their licences (circuit outlines from bacinger/f1-circuits, MIT; engine sound by Ears68, CC0). Late Brake is an independent game and isn't affiliated with any racing series, team or circuit. Circuit names describe the real places the tracks are based on. Sponsors' names and logos shown at the trackside belong to them.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and for significant changes we'll say so in the game. Continuing to play after an update means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
